Rotate PDF

Fix upside-down scans for good — rotate single pages or the whole PDF and save it properly.

Scanners and phone cameras love producing sideways pages. Load your PDF, see a thumbnail of every page, and rotate exactly the ones that are wrong — one click per 90° turn, or rotate the entire document at once by 90°, 180°, or 270°. The thumbnails turn as you click, so you can see the result before saving.

Unlike rotating in a viewer, which only changes how the file is displayed on your screen, this writes the rotation into the PDF itself — it opens right-side up for everyone you send it to. The edit is made by pdf-lib in your browser, so the document is never uploaded.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. 1

Drop your PDF onto the tool — a thumbnail appears for every page.

  2. 2

Click the rotate button on the pages that are wrong, or use "Rotate all" for the whole file.

  3. 3

Click "Apply & Download" to save the corrected PDF.

Why use Nofolo’s rotate pdf?

No upload — rotated locally

The rotation is applied in your browser with pdf-lib. Your document never leaves your device.

Saved permanently

Rotation is written into the file, not just the view — it stays fixed in every PDF reader.

Per-page control

Rotate only page 3 of a 20-page file. Each thumbnail has its own rotate button.

Rotate all at once

Whole scan sideways? Turn every page 90°, 180°, or 270° with one click.

Live thumbnail preview

Thumbnails rotate as you click, so you confirm the orientation before downloading.

Lossless edit

Only the page rotation flag changes — text, images, and quality are completely untouched.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded when I rotate it?

No. Thumbnails are rendered and the rotation is applied entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device.

Will the rotation stay when I send the file to someone?

Yes. The rotation is saved into the PDF’s page settings, so it opens correctly in every reader — unlike the temporary rotate view in most PDF viewers.

Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole PDF?

Yes. Every page has its own rotate button under its thumbnail — click once for 90°, twice for 180°, three times for 270°. Other pages are left alone.

Does rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Rotation only updates each page’s orientation flag. Nothing is re-rendered or recompressed, so text stays selectable and images stay identical.

The pages were already rotated in the file — will this handle that?

Yes. Your rotation is added to each page’s existing angle, so a page stored at 90° that you turn another 90° correctly ends up at 180°.
