Date Calculator

Days between two dates — or add and subtract time from any date, calendar-accurately.

Two calculators in one. Difference mode counts the exact time between two dates — a years/months/days breakdown, total days, and working days (Monday–Friday). Add/subtract mode starts from any date and moves forward or back by years, months, and days, telling you the resulting date and its weekday.

Use it for project deadlines ("what date is 90 days from today?"), notice periods, contract terms, pregnancy milestones, visa windows, or how many working days remain before a launch. Month arithmetic is calendar-accurate: January 31 plus one month is February 28 (or 29 in a leap year), never a phantom February 31.

Frequently asked questions

How are working days counted?

Working days are Mondays through Fridays from the start date up to, but not including, the end date. Public holidays are not excluded — they vary by country — so subtract any holidays that apply to you.

Is the end date included in the count?

Total days and working days count from the start date up to and excluding the end date — Monday to Friday of the same week is 4 days. If you need both endpoints included, add one day to the result.

What happens when I add a month to January 31?

You get the last day of February — February 28, or 29 in a leap year. The calculator clamps to the end of the shorter month instead of inventing an invalid date, the same convention spreadsheets use.

Can I subtract time from a date?

Yes — switch the direction to minus and the calculator moves backwards. Useful for "90 days before a deadline" filing dates or working out a start date from an end date.

Does it handle leap years?

Yes. All arithmetic runs on the real calendar, so February 29 is counted in leap years and date differences across leap days come out exact.
