Favicon Generator
Build a complete favicon pack from an image, letters, or an emoji — every size a modern site needs.
Upload a logo — or just type a letter or emoji, pick colors and a shape — and get every favicon size a modern site expects: 16, 32, and 48 px for tabs, a 180 px apple-touch-icon, and 192/512 px icons for Android and PWAs. Everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser, so your logo is never uploaded.
The whole pack downloads as one zip with a ready site.webmanifest, and the exact link tags for your head section are one copy button away. Modern browsers are perfectly happy with PNG favicons, so the legacy favicon.ico file is optional — one less thing to generate.
How to generate a favicon

Frequently asked questions
Is my logo uploaded to create the favicons?
No. All sizes are drawn with the Canvas API in your browser and zipped locally with JavaScript. The image never leaves your device.
What favicon sizes do I actually need?
16 and 32 px cover browser tabs, 48 px covers Windows shortcuts, 180 px is the apple-touch-icon for iOS home screens, and 192/512 px serve Android and PWA manifests. This pack generates all six.
Do I still need a favicon.ico file?
Usually not — every modern browser accepts PNG favicons declared with link tags. A classic favicon.ico only matters for very old browsers and tools that blindly request /favicon.ico, so treat it as optional.
Can I use an emoji as a favicon?
Yes — switch to text mode and type the emoji. It renders at every size using your system emoji font, which is how many indie sites and blogs get a distinctive favicon in seconds.
What kind of image works best?
A square image of at least 512×512 px with a simple, high-contrast subject. Fine details disappear at 16 px, so bold shapes and strong colors survive the shrink best. Non-square images are center-cropped automatically.
