Split PDF

Pull out a page range or break a PDF into single pages — processed privately in your browser.

100% freeRuns in your browserNo signup, no watermark

Load a PDF and choose how to split it: extract a page range (say, pages 2–5 of a 30-page scan) into a new PDF, or split every page into its own file and download them together as a ZIP. The page count shows as soon as the file loads, so you always know the valid range.

Everything runs on your device with pdf-lib — the document is never uploaded. That matters for the files people most often split: signed contracts, bank statements, ID scans, and school records. Extracted pages keep their original quality because they are copied, not re-rendered.

How to split a PDF

  1. 1

Drop your PDF onto the tool — the page count appears immediately.

  2. 2

Choose "Extract range" and set from/to pages, or choose "Split every page".

  3. 3

Click the action button: a range downloads as a PDF, a full split downloads as a ZIP.

Why use Nofolo’s split pdf?

No upload — private by design

Splitting happens locally in your browser. Statements and contracts are never sent to a server.

Extract any page range

Pick a from–to range (like 2–5) and get exactly those pages as a new, clean PDF.

Split every page at once

Turn an n-page document into n single-page PDFs, packaged as one ZIP download.

Validated before it runs

The tool shows the page count and checks your range, so you can’t request page 12 of a 10-page file.

Original quality preserved

Pages are copied directly — text stays selectable, images stay sharp, file metadata stays intact.

Free with no watermarks

No signup, no page limits, no stamp on the output.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded when I split it?

No. The file is read and split entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or logged — the document never leaves your device.

How do I extract just one page from a PDF?

Use "Extract range" and set the same page number as both the from and to value — for example 7 to 7 saves page 7 as its own PDF.

How does "Split every page" deliver the files?

Each page becomes its own single-page PDF, numbered in order (page-01.pdf, page-02.pdf, …), and they all download together in one ZIP file.

Do the extracted pages lose quality?

No. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they are — nothing is re-rendered or recompressed, so text and images are untouched.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Encrypted PDFs can’t be read without the password, so the tool will tell you the file is protected. Remove the password first, then split it.
