How to Create Bulk QR Codes

  1. 1

Prepare your data. Collect the URLs, text strings, or identifiers you want to encode — one per line. You can type them directly or export a column from a spreadsheet and upload it as a CSV file.

  2. 2

Set the style once for the entire batch. Choose foreground and background colors, set the output size (256px works for most labels; use 512px or larger for signage), and pick an error correction level.

  3. 3

Preview the grid. Every code renders in your browser instantly. Scroll through to spot-check labels and verify each code encodes the correct data before exporting.

  4. 4

Download all codes. Choose ZIP to get individual PNG files you can drop into design tools, label printers, or software. Choose PDF for a print-ready document with all codes laid out in a 3-column grid with labels — perfect for printing and cutting.

Who Uses Bulk QR Codes?

Anywhere you need many unique codes at once, the bulk generator saves hours of manual work.

Product Labels

Generate a unique QR code for every SKU, linking to product pages, manuals, or warranty registration. Export as a ZIP and merge into your label design software.

Event Badges

Create one QR code per attendee linking to their check-in record or digital business card. Print the PDF sheet and cut individual codes for badges or lanyards.

Warehouse Inventory

Encode shelf locations, bin numbers, or asset tracking URLs into QR codes. Print the PDF, laminate, and affix to racks for fast barcode-free scanning.

Marketing Campaigns

Generate campaign-specific QR codes for each flyer, mailer, or ad placement. Track which channel drives the most scans by using unique UTM-tagged URLs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many QR codes can I generate at once?
There is no hard limit. The generator runs entirely in your browser, so performance depends on your device. Most modern computers handle hundreds of codes without issue. For very large batches (1,000+), consider splitting them into groups of 500 to keep the browser responsive.
What file format should my CSV be in?
Use a simple CSV or plain-text file with one URL or text string per line. The generator reads the first column of each row. You do not need headers — just the raw data. Files saved as .csv or .txt both work.
Can I customize individual QR codes in a bulk batch?
The bulk generator applies the same colors, size, and error correction to every code in the batch for speed and consistency. If you need individual customization (different colors or logos per code), use the single QR Code Generator and create each one separately.
What is the difference between the ZIP and PDF download?
The ZIP download contains one PNG image per QR code, named after the input data — ideal for embedding individual codes in designs, labels, or software. The PDF download places all codes on printed pages in a 3-column grid with labels underneath — ideal for printing sheets of codes for events, warehouses, or product batches.
Is my data stored on your server?
For static QR codes and the bulk generator, all processing happens entirely in your browser — your data never leaves your device. If you create an editable QR code, the redirect URL is stored on our servers so you can update it after printing.
